Yes, I give advice--but in a back-handed over-protective mother sort of way. I do in fact have a daughter named Abby (she IS a dear), and two sons. One of my life observations has been that most people do not want to be told what to do. Best to not tell someone to go jump off a cliff, just provide a map to the canyon and let fate dance.

My hubs will be filled with information gleaned from life experiences and sources relevant to my passions: Travel (not the 5-star overseas version, but the quick day-or-two getaways more of us can afford), Friendships (I am fortunate to have some of the best in the world, and wish the same for everyone) Cooking (found a wonderful chicken picatta recipe just this week!), Music (I like it all. Well... most of it), Reading, (just about anything not written in the King's English), Dog Rescue (am a proud member of Great Lakes Border Collie Rescue), Spirituality (it's about love y'all!) and Soapmaking (my one claim to a pioneer spirit).

Of particular interest to me is researching short trip travel ideas. If you are curious about a US destination (the more obscure the better) let me know, and *poof* a hub on that topic will magically appear.

I'm looking forward to connecting with and getting to know other hubbers and their work!
